+## SQL Maximum (MAX) Function
+ SQL MAX Function is used to get the maximum value of a column in a table. 
+ Here is the syntax for using the function:
+ ```sql
+SELECT column1, column2, ..., columnN, MAX(aggregated_column)
+FROM table1
+GROUP BY column1, column2, ..., columnN
+```
+### Example 1
+Our table looks like the following:
+ ```text

+| studentID | FullName               | sat_score | rcd_updated         |
++-----------+------------------------+-----------+---------------------+
+|         1 | Monique Davis          |       400 | 2017-08-16 15:34:50 |
