##Abstract Factory
2014-08-12 23:13:01 +03:00
**Intent:** Provide an interface for creating families of related or dependent objects without specifying their concrete classes.
2014-08-09 22:39:53 +03:00
2014-08-10 10:12:15 +03:00
##Builder
2014-08-12 23:13:01 +03:00
**Intent:** Separate the construction of a complex object from its representation so that the same construction process can create different representations.
2014-08-10 10:09:20 +03:00
2014-08-10 10:12:15 +03:00
##Factory Method
2014-08-12 23:13:01 +03:00
**Intent:** Define an interface for creating an object, but let subclasses decide which class to instantiate. Factory Method lets a class defer instantiation to subclasses.
2014-08-10 22:57:44 +03:00
##Prototype
2014-08-12 23:13:01 +03:00
**Intent:** Specify the kinds of objects to create using a prototypical instance, and create new objects by copying this prototype.
2014-08-11 21:45:42 +03:00
##Singleton
2014-08-12 23:13:01 +03:00
**Intent:** Ensure a class only has one instance, and provide a global point of access to it.
2014-08-11 22:09:09 +03:00
##Adapter
2014-08-12 23:13:01 +03:00
**Intent:** Convert the interface of a class into another interface clients expect. Adapter lets classes work together that couldn't otherwise because of incompatible interfaces.
2014-08-12 23:11:33 +03:00
##Bridge
2014-08-12 23:13:01 +03:00
**Intent:** Decouple an abstraction from its implementationso that the two can vary independently.
2014-08-13 21:16:37 +03:00
##Composite
**Intent:** Compose objects into tree structures to represent part-whole hierarchies. Composite lets clients treat individual objects and compositions of objects uniformly.
2014-08-13 21:47:14 +03:00
##Decorator
**Intent:** Attach additional responsibilities to an object dynamically. Decorators provide a flexible alternative to subclassing for extending functionality.
2014-08-13 22:21:26 +03:00
##Facade
**Intent:** Provide a unified interface to a set of interfaces in a subsystem. Facade defines a higher-level interface that makes the subsystem easier to use.
2014-08-16 19:43:42 +03:00
##Flyweight
**Intent:** Use sharing to support large numbers of fine-grained objects efficiently.
2014-08-16 20:29:55 +03:00
##Proxy
**Intent:** Provide a surrogate or placeholder for another object to control access to it.
2014-08-17 09:08:56 +03:00
##Chain of responsibility
**Intent:** Avoid coupling the sender of a request to its receiver by giving more than one object a chance to handle the request. Chain the receiving objects and pass the request along the chain until an object handles it.
2014-08-17 14:44:28 +03:00
##Command
**Intent:** Encapsulate a request as an object, thereby letting you parameterize clients with different requests, queue or log requests, and support undoable operations.
