Os elementos a (âncora) também podem ser usados para criar vínculos internos, para saltar para seções diferentes de sua pagina da web.
Para criar um link interno, você associa o atributo href do link para um símbolo de hash #, em combinação com o valor do atributo id do elemento ao qual você deseja vincular internamente, que geralmente fica mais abaixo na página. Você, então, precisará adicionar o mesmo atributo id ao elemento que está sendo vinculado ao link. id é um atributo que descreve um único elemento.
Abaixo, vemos um exemplo de um link vinculado a um elemento interno da página:
