User Experience (UX) Research is a field that focuses on understanding users' behaviors, needs, intentions, expections and motivations through observation techniques, task analysis, and other feedback methodologies. UX research encompasses a variety of investigative methods used to add insight and context to the design process. User experience researchers, also referred to as user experience (UX) architechs or user experience (UX) designers, utilize quantitiative and qualitative research through analytical analysis, user interviews, observation, surveys and questionnaires, in order to assist website and app users.
