Description
.hasOwnProperty(propname)
method of objects to determine if that object has the given property name. .hasOwnProperty()
returns true
or false
if the property is found or not.
Example
var myObj = {
top: "hat",
bottom: "pants"
};
myObj.hasOwnProperty("top"); // true
myObj.hasOwnProperty("middle"); // false
